UIN Online – The students of Journalism Department of Dakwah and Communication Faculty (FDK) participated in the selection Generation Planning (Genre) Student Ambassador. They were Mardianto and Ria Lestari.

The Genre Ambassador Selection of South Sulawesi was organized by the Directorate of Youth Resilience (DITHANREM) of National Population and Family Planning in South Sulawesi province. The election took place on April 15, 2014.

When confirmed in the Journalism Department, Mardianto admitted that he used to participate in the peer educators of BKKBN in provincial level. At that time, He represented his native region, Bulukumba. "Hopefully, I can bring the good name for the department through this activity," he hoped.

In line with Mardi, Ria Lestari also used to participate in the same event with Mardi but she represented the Southeast Sulawesi.
