UIN Online – The increasing number of students in FDK UIN Alauddin in compared with the available rooms for lecturing has recently become a hot discussion among academic community everywhere, the deans and the students either. It is particularly a challenging problem which absolutely needs to solve sooner by the faculty leader, therefore.

As confirmed regarding the solutions taken, the dean of FDK Muliaty Amin, admitted that she never imagines this overloading students before. Samata, Monday (01/09).

“Actually I never predict before that the applicants will be overloaded so many since we plan of receiving 480 fresh students only, yet there are so many applicants in unpredictable quantity, in fact. Thus, to solve the problem, the faculty cooperates with the building organizers of character building program (CBP), in case, to use the building of CBP for lecturing,” accordingly to her.

Further, she explained, in addition, students who will later class in the CBP building only those who are the fifth semester above, none of the fresh students. According to her, moreover, we want to reactivate the four departments which are for years less interesting among students, including Da’wah Management Department (MD), Islamic Guidance Department (BPI), Islamic Society Development (PMI), and The department of Islamic Broadcasting and Communication (IEC)”.
