UIN Online - Student Association (HMJ) of Islamic Broadcasting and Communication Department (KPI) of Dakwah and Communication Faculty (FDK) of UIN Alauddin Makassar held department socialization in various districts of South Sulawesi. One of them was conducted in Bulukumba, last Sunday (02/23/2014). The socialization started from February 18 to 25, 2014.

In addition to the socialization in Bulukumba, the department teams numbered 19 people also had held the socialization in Senior High School / Islamic High School / Vocational School in Maros, Pangkep, Barru, Soppeng, Wajo, Bone, and Sinjai. Next socialization would be held in Bantaeng, Jeneponto, Takalar, Gowa, and Makassar.

According to the Dean of FDK, Dr Hj Amin Muliaty Mag stated that this socialization was part of the Islamic struggle. "I really appreciate this activity. This activity is worth as Islamic struggle, and you will conduct Islamic struggle," she said it when sending away the socialization team of KPI department.

Meanwhile, the chief of KPI HMJ, Muhammad Fadli Rahman stated that the activity which was the first work program of KPI-HMJ was one kind of the devotion to KPI department.

"Now, KPI department accreditation is B. We are optimistic it can become A this year. To achieve that, one of the conditions is the quantity of students. This socialization is an effort to increase the quantity of KPI students," he said.

Fadli added that this activity fund was from result of self-help activities of KPI students and head of KPI department. "Within a week, by riding motorcycles, we visited 12 districts in South Sulawesi. Although the fund was still lack, we still kept spirit."Added this 4th-semester student of KPI.
