UIN Online - Heads of Departments (Kajur) of Alauddin State Islamic University (UIN Alauddin) Makassar attended the meeting about Single Tuition Cost (BKT) and Single Tuition Fee (UKT). This meeting was chaired by Vice Rector of General Administration and Financial Planning, Prof. Dr. Musafir Pababbari, M.Si. Samata, Friday (03/07).

Based on the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia Republic Number 55 Year 2013, BKT means overall operating costs per - student per semester in his/her study program at the state university. Tuition fee is used as the sole basis for setting fees charged to the student community and the Government.

While UKT is a part of the cost borne by every single university student based on his/her economic capabilities. UKT is determined by the single reduced tuition costs borne by the Government.

Through the application of this UKT and BKT to the students of year intake 2011, the students are not charged by practicum cost. "The practicum cost for the second semester students will be taken from the State University Operational Costs," said Musafir.
