UIN Online - Closing his speech, the Head of Library Science Department (Kajur-JIP), Muh. Quraisy Mathar S.Sos., M.Hum., stated that the department was a new department that had great potential to absorb labor alumni. "I cannot imagine how great the opportunities of JIP alumni ahead in their field. The alumni of JIP is now working anywhere and do not want to go everywhere," he added.
At the JIP reunion momentum in Training Center (TC), he explained that the number of Islamic Schools in Indonesia was approximately two thousand and five hundred, while the available librarian was only three thousand people. Furthermore, he explained that the Islamic Schools without librarians could not get A or B accreditation.
In his speech, the Vice Dean of Student Affairs and Cooperation of Adab and Humanities Faculty, Dr. H. Ahmad Dahlan, M.Ag., said that the librarians have to be smart. "I beg you through this forum to record the alumni data, after that we will try to make Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) so that our librarians can become employee soon," he added.
